Bengaluru: Swaraj India founder, well-known thinker, Yogendra Yadav stated that Prakash Rai’s victory in Bengaluru Central constituency is required to strengthen the democratic institutions.
Participating in the campaign for Rai in the various parts of the city, he stated that only a few people are challenging the BJP on the streets. “Rai is one of them. His courage to challenge the BJP in Bengaluru is a model initiative itself. His victory is required to strengthen the democratic values in our society,” he said.
Yadav observed that Rai’s victory will send a strong message across the country. “What is positive in his candidature is that all sections of the society are supporting him. People from cross sections of society are rallying behind him,” he said.
