Bengaluru: Actor-turned-politician Prakash Rai has released his manifesto for the Lok Sabha election. Compared to the other parties and the candidates, he has proposed a number of realistic solutions to the city’s challenges.
The highlights of Rai’s manifesto include the conversion of the existing Anganavadi centers into daycare centers to help the working labour class, free education till class X, no new private schools, a comprehensive traffic plan for the city etc.
Other major assurances made in the manifesto include an egg for school children every day, apart from fruits, children’s ward meeting everywhere, free water up to 20,000 liters per month etc.
Speaking on the occasion, Rai stated that his idea is to make the Bengaluru Central Lok Sabha constituency a model one in the next five years.
