Bengaluru: The Koramangala police arrested three residents of Jakkasandra, for allegedly sexually assaulting a transgender person who runs a beauty parlour in the city. The incident is reported to have occurred on May 12.
The victim had lodged a complaint on May 17 and all the accused were arrested within a short span of time. All of the arrested have been remanded to judicial custody.
According to sources, one of the accused and the victim are good friends and he would often visit the latter’s house. But on May 12, he visited the house along with two of his friends and sexually assaulted the victim at knife-point.
The police have informed that the incident is being investigated.
