Bengaluru: In the first six months of the year 2019, the city police fired at 20 rowdies who were involved in various crime including murder, theft and rowdyism. The notorious among all was Pappu, son of Koli Fayaz.
According to city police, in the year 2019, a total of 30 rowdies have received bullet injuries in their lower limbs in police firing.
But even after police firing and strict action, the rowdy activities continue in the city causing worry among the police.
According to insiders from the department, the idea behind firing at the lower limbs of the rowdies is to render them unable to carry out their unscrupulous activities for a few more months and also warn the other rowdies. “But the murders, extortion continue,” informed sources.
