Bengaluru: Deputy Chief Minister and former president of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee Dr G Parameshwara has warned the party lawmakers against holding any secret meetings. “If anyone holds any secret meeting, the party will not hesitate to initiate action,” he said.
Speaking to reporters, he stated that he has received complaints against both Mandya Congress leaders and a few MLAs from Bengaluru, for allegedly holding a meeting outside the KPCC office. “We will not encourage any such secret meetings,” he said.
“Party is against all kinds of such meetings. We want all our MLAs to follow the party rulebook and directions of the leaders,” he said.
He also stated that there is no threat to the state government and the government will complete its term.
