Bengaluru: Union textile minister Smriti Irani alleged that the target of the Mahaghatabandhan is not Prime Minister Narendra Modi but the pockets and purses of the general public. Only corrupt want the non- Modi government, she said speaking at the Prabhuddara Gosti (seminar of thinkers) in the city, on Sunday evening, in which she shared the dais with MP PC Mohan and BJP state spokesperson Ashwatta Narayana.
She stated that Congress is ready to stoop to any level to destabilize this government led by Modi.
“That is why they held a press meet in London and tried to defame the Indian elections and EVMs,” she alleged.
“PM Modi is very tough against the corrupt. So all the corrupt have joined hands together,” she alleged.
“Ameti was very poor all these years. There were no hospitals or good government offices. The condition of the constituency is a mirror to the contributions of the Gandhi family to the country,” she alleged.
