Bengaluru: PWD minister HD Revanna has denied the rumours that the JDS is ready to leave the Congress and join hands with the BJP, if the party proposes any leader other than BS Yeddyurappa for the CM’s post.
It was speculated that the JDS is getting ready to join hands with the BJP if the saffron party agrees to name a leader other than BS Yeddyurappa for the top post and appoints HD Revanna, elder son of JDS supremo HD Deve Gowda as the Deputy Chief Minister.
Speaking to the reporters, he denied all such rumours. “We met the Prime Minister only once to discuss about the drought situation in the state. Since then we are not in touch. All are mere rumours spread by the BJP,” he alleged.
The JDS-Congress government is on the right track. There are no problems. “Minor issues have been resolved by the senior leaders,” he said.
