Bengaluru: Nightlife of Bengaluru, Mangaluru, Mysuru, and 7 other cities lost sheen on day one of the night curfews that began Saturday night.
The police had made elaborate arrangements to ensure that the night curfew was a success. The major roads of the city including Brigade, Church street, MG Road wore a deserted look after 8 pm. The vehicular movement was very thin, and only essential services were allowed.
In other major cities also night curfew was successful. The state government has imposed a night curfew to contain the spread of the Covid 19. The night curfew will continue up to April 20.
Meanwhile, Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar visited KC General Hospital in the night and reviewed the situation.
