Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha spends seven hours in police custody

Bengaluru: Mysuru- Kodagu MP Pratap Simha spent 7 hours in police custody as he failed to honor a court summons issued by the special people’s representatives court. This is in connection with a defamation case filed by actor turned activist Prakash Raj against Simha at the peak of #Just Asking movement.

The court granted bail to Simha after seven hours of police custody.

The Court, which considered Simha’s absence seriously handed him to the police custody for seven hours. After that it granted a regular bail.

Rs.100 fine was imposed for the withdrawing of the summons.
