Bengaluru: Mysuru MP Pratap Simha is on his way out of the BJP state youth wing president’s post. If sources in the state BJP unit are to be believed, party national president Amit Shah decided to revamp the Youth Morcha, specifically because he feels that the wing has not been very active over the last one year.
According to reliable sources, recently, a few BJP senior leaders and RSS activists lodged a complaint with Shah on the style of functioning of the youth wing. They alleged that the Morcha is not holding any protests or organisational activities. “It has become very dull. Simha is not showing any interest in the organisation’s works,” said sources.
Following the complaint, Shah directed the party national leaders to look into the issue. “The party is expected to bring in a new face by replacing Simha, who is expected to lose the MP ticket too,” added sources.
Pratap Simha was not available for a reaction.
