Bengaluru: Andhra CM Chandrababu Naidu stated that after the announcement of Lok Sabha election result, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will return to Gujarat as the NDA is going to lose this election.
Addressing a gathering in Pandavapura of Mandya district, campaigning for Nikhil Kumaraswamy, he stated that he underwent a lot of pain because of Modi.
Naidu, who visited the district to campaign for Nikhil Kumaraswamy, son of CM HD Kumaraswamy stated that NDA government ruined all the democratic institutions in the last five years.
“2019 election is very crucial in Indian history. If NDA returns to power, it will be a death knell for democracy,” he said.
CM HD Kumaraswamy was present on the occasion.
Keeping in mind a large chunk of Balija votes in Mandya, to which Sumalatha Ambareesh belongs, the JDS brought Naidu to campaign for Nikhil in the district.
