Bengaluru: Seven months after the mysterious disappearance of her brother, Pragya S has launched a protest hashtag on Twitter #JusticeforAjitabh, in order to seek the CBI’s intervention in the investigations.

Kumar Ajitabh, a 30-year-old techie based in Bengaluru, had just been accepted into the executive MBA course at IIM-Calcutta. To fund his course fees, Ajitabh had put his car up for sale online and on December 18, 2017, left his house after receiving a call inquiring about the car. He never returned.

In January, the phone and the SIM card used to place the call to Ajitabh’s phone was traced but the trail went cold there. The case was then transferred to the CID at the time of the elections but, there has been no progress in the case since then. They have been handling the case for the last four months.

The missing techie’ family reportedly approached the state Home Minister to transfer the case to the CBI but did not get a response.

The next High Court hearing of the case has been scheduled for July 31.
