Bengaluru: A few shops and walls in the Church Street of the ‘Silicon City’ were graffitied with ‘Free Kashmir’, anti-CAA, NRC and NPR slogans on Tuesday, January 14.
The graffiti were spray painted on the shutter of the shop along with slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
One of the paintings read, “BJP IS CANCER KILL IT BEFORE IT KILLS YOU”.
The shutter of a shop bore the words, “NO CAA NO NRC NO NPR” and “MODI RESIGN”.
According to the media reports, CCTV footage of the incident has been found, where two miscreants were seen spray painting the walls and shop shutters. It was also reported that the police were going through the footage and other evidence to hunt down the miscreants.
Meanwhile, a suo motu case has been filed by the Cubbon Park Police.
