Bengaluru: Minor irrigation minister. JC Madhuswamy warned the central government that the continuation of the dictatorial attitude may affect the federal structure of the country.
Participating in an event in Mysuru, he stated that the central government is interfering too much in state affairs. “It is trying to centralise the power which is resulting in the separatist feelings,” he said.
He alleged that megaprojects are not helping the locals in any way. “In Tumakuru, 88,000 jobs are created in the food park but not even 800 jobs have been provided for the locals. Even in the food park which was inaugurated by the Prime Minister, 10 locals didn’t get any jobs,” he said.
His statement comes as a big embarrassment to the BJP state unit which is under fire for allowing Hindi imposition and other reasons.
