Bengaluru: Finally, the Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has decided to attach three more coaches to the metro trains which are running full. According to the BMRCL officials, by December all metro trains will have these three coaches. One among these three additional coaches will be reserved for women passengers.
Presently metro trains have six coaches. But on both purple and green lines, all the schedules are running at full capacity. There is a huge demand for a separate coach for women passengers.
Demand for separate coaches for women passengers is not new. But BMRCL is yet to fulfil the demand stating there is the shortage of coaches.
