Bengaluru: The Metro train services between Rashtriya Vidyalaya Road (R V Road) and Yalachenahalli in green line has been suspended from 9 PM on February 24 to 11 PM on February 25 due to maintenance reasons. On these two days, the train will travel only between Nagasandra to R V Road, said a release from Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL).
A technical fault was found in the Metro track near Yalachenahalli Metro station in February. Only one platform is being used from the past 13 days in Yalachenahalli Metro Station. The train leaves and arrives at the same track. So, in the backdrop of the track repair, the Metro train movement would end at R V Road station, for two days.
Moreover, for 2 days, Yalachenahalli, J P Nagara and Banashankari Metro railway stations will be closed and passengers have to arrive at R V Road Metro Station to use the facility. In Nayandahalli- Byappanahalli route, the train will travel as always. According to the corporation, Metro rail will travel as always between Nagasandra and Yalachenahalli on February 26 from 5 AM.
Additional BMTC buses:
As Metro train movement will be suspended between Yalachenahalli-R V Road for two days, Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) will provide additional bus service in these areas today and tomorrow.
