MBA student suffers cardiac attack while practicing ramp walk, dies

Bengaluru: In a tragic incident, a second-year MBA student died of a cardiac arrest while practicing for a ramp walk for a city college’s freshers’ day on Friday, October 18.

The deceased is identified as Shalini (21).

Reportedly, the incident occurred on Friday, October 18, at 5 PM in a college under the Peenya police station limits.

“She collapsed in the classroom while practicing for the ramp walk. She was rushed to a private hospital where she was pronounced dead. Doctors confirmed that she died of a cardiac attack,” said police sources.

“She was practicing for the freshers’ day slated to be held on Monday,” sources added.
