Mantri mall locked for 8 hours for property tax default

Bengaluru: BBMP revenue section officials locked the Mantri mall in Sampige road, Malleshwaram in the city for over 8 hours on February 24 for default in the property tax payment.

The Mantri mall officials are given dead line till March 1 evening to pay the dues.

According to the authorities, the Mantri mall is owing Rs.32 crores property tax for the last three years.

The BBMP authorities warned that if the Mantri mall authorities fail to pay the due, the BBMP will take over the entire building.
