Bengaluru: Mangaluru buns, chapati, bread jam, tea, coffee… if everything goes as per the plan, these quick eats and beverages will become part of the Indira canteen menu soon. According to the sources in the BBMP, the corporation is planning to add more variety to the existing menu. BBMP commissioner N Manjunath Prasad informed that the new tender will be floated soon.
“We will add new snacks based on the feedback we receive from the general public. There is demand for a few snacks and coffee, tea etc. They will be added,” he said adding that apart from said snacks, people are also demanding for Raagi mudde (finger millet dish), which the canteen will introduce soon.
“The new tender will be floated soon. We will try to continue the old price list,” he concluded.
