Bengaluru: In a tragic incident, a patient committed suicide after testing positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday, July 21.
The deceased, said to be 54 years of age, was a resident of Mattikere. The patient had show symptoms of the infection and his throat swabs were sent for testing. He received a call on Monday informing him that he had tested positive.
In a panic, the man committed suicide at his home at midnight.
His body was moved to the MS Ramaiah Hospital by the local police later in the day.
