Bengaluru: Revenge takes many forms, based on the level of spite one harbours in their heart. A man was arrested by Cyber Crime police on Saturday, June 2, for allegedly uploading indecent doctored images of his wife along with her phone number, to “teach her a lesson”.
The man, identified as Vinay (30), a native of Thirthahalli in Shivamogga and resident of north Bengaluru, is employed with a Kannada TV channel.
According to police sources, Vinay and his wife were not on good terms and they fought over trivial matters often. Fed up, Vinay left his wife and began living separately for a few months. To get back at his wife, he then doctored images of his wife to make them obscene and posted them on an online dating site along with her phone number.
Terrified after receiving calls from unknown men asking for sexual favours, his wife filed a complaint with the police and Vinay was arrested.
