Bengaluru: The state government effected a major administrative reshuffle in the state bureaucracy. 42 IAS officers including 9 DCs were transferred.
According to the sources, these transfers are made to accommodate several newly promoted IAS officers from the KAS.
Major reshuffles include transfer of Chikkamagalur DC Dr. Bagadi Gautham, Mandya DC Dr Venkatesh, Mysuru City Corporation commissioner Gurudatt Hegde etc.
Authorities pointed out that it is a regular transfer and there is nothing special.
