Bengaluru: Amid growing chorus demanding Congress ticket to Sumalata, wife of late actor MH Ambareesh from Mandya Lok Sabha constituency in the upcoming Lok Sabha election, Congress leader Siddaramaiah has made it clear that no decision has been taken in this regard yet.
Speaking to the reporters in New Delhi, after meeting All Indian Congress Committee (AICC) President Rahul Gandhi, he stated that a final decision on party Lok Sabha candidates will be taken after consulting with the party state leaders and coalition partner JDS.
He also stated that the party will not tolerate indiscipline, "I will write to speaker KR Ramesh Kumar against four rebel MLAs by Monday. We want the speaker to disqualify them," he said.
He also made it clear that there is no question of initiating action against Kampli MLA JN Ganesh, who is accused of assaulting the fellow MLA Anand Singh
