Lok Sabha election preparation: Amit Shah to visit K’taka on Feb 14 and 21

Bengaluru: With less than three months to go for the general election 2019, the ruling party at the centre is making all-out efforts to retain its 2014 tally in the state. After Prime Minister Modi’s Hubballi convention, now party national president Amit Shah will visit the state on February 14 and 21.

According to the BJP sources, on February 14, Shah will tour the Ballari Lok Sabha constituency. He will first hold a closed-door meeting with the local leaders of the party in Hospet and later visit Ballari.

He will visit Chikkaballapura, where former minister Bachche Gowda will be the party candidate for the Lok Sabha election 2019, on February 21. Shah will hold a meeting with the party Shakti Kendra leaders on the occasion and discuss the poll preparedness.

Meanwhile, on March 1, Prime Minister Modi is likely to address a rally in Kalaburugi, which is now represented by Mallikarjun Kharge.
