Bengaluru: The BBMP sealed down Kalasipalya and KR market for next 15 days. This order was issued by BBMP commissioner BH Anil Kumar after reports that social distancing is not followed in these markets.
The BBMP is under fire for poor handling of the Covid 19 crisis of late. On Tuesday morning, the public used social media to show how the crowd is gathering at these two major markets and may cause a spread of the Covid 19
Meanwhile, the state government formed a dedicated Covid 19 team comprising of senior IAS and IPS officers in the city to manage the crisis. The state government is criticised for poor coordination between various government departments handling the patients, logistics, hospitals and other resources
