Bengaluru: The Kerala police have registered a case against Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje for allegedly spreading false news.
According to sources, the Kerala police registered a case under the section 153(A) (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race etc) of the IPC for her tweet on January 22.

In the tweet included pictures of people filling water in pots from a tap. The Kerala police have claimed that this is false news.
