Karnataka registers 69 new cases, one death due to COVID-19

Bengaluru : Karnataka registered 69 new COVID positive cases and one fatality, on Monday, May 25.

With this the state’s total tally has hit 2158 and total fatalities has reached 43. The deceased is a 55-year-old man from Bangaluru urban, who was admitted to hospital on May 19 owing to respiratory issues. He succumbed on May 24.

Out of the total positive cases, Udupi district had 16 new cases, followed by Yadagir at 15 and Kalaburgi at 14. Remaining districts are Bengaluru Urban (6), Ballari and Dharwad (3 each), Dakshina Kannada (3), Mandya and Kolar (2), Vijayapura, Tumakuru, Ramanagar Belagavi and Bidar (one each).
