Bengaluru: Rebel Congress MLA and State Housing Minister in the Congress-Janata Dal (S) state coalition, M T B Nagaraj, who after a day-long convincing and consoling by ‘troubleshooter’ of coalition and State Water Resource Minister D K Shivakumar, CLP leader Siddaramaiah and other coalition leaders had agreed to stay in the Congress has now suddenly flown to Mumbai.
According to the sources, M T B had informed the coalition leaders that he would attend a fair in his hometown, but had then left the city in a special charter flight to Mumbai on Sunday.
Bharatiya Janata Party State President B S Yeddyurappa, leaders R Ashok and S R Vishwanath and BSY’s personal secretary Santhosh are said to have helped in making all these arrangement for M T B.
It is also suspected that R Ashok might have accompanied him to Mumbai.
