Bengaluru: Karnataka Medical Education Minister K. Sudhakar has inaugurated a Covid-19 dashboard, an information basket in the fight against the dreaded virus, an official said on Tuesday.

“The Covid-19 dashboard was on Tuesday inaugurated by Medical Education Minister K. Sudhakar. It will contain microdata which will be accessible to the public,” tweeted Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike Commissioner B.H. Anil Kumar.

He said Karnataka has been at the forefront in fighting Covid-19, deploying technology and keeping a track of the pandemic.

“This dashboard will be a single source of all Covid-19 related data including people under quarantine, their contacts, medical personnel on ground, hospitals, taluk-wise and city wise data and beyond,” said Kumar.

According to the Commissioner, data on the dashboard is being put together using a host of software and apps.
