Bengaluru: Amid reports that BJP is a divided house over change in the party state leadership, Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa met Siddalinga seer of Siddaganga mutt and held talks secretly. It was a one-on-one meeting between seer and CM.
BSY who toured Tumakur district on Friday May 28 evening to review the Covid 19 situation held meeting with seer at the end of his tour.
Even though DCM Ashwath Narayan and district in charge minister Madhuswamy were accompanying him, he met seer alone.
There is speculation that CM is meeting several lingayat leaders to pressurise the party high command not to change him from the post.
