Bengaluru: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa asked all the party MLAs to stay back in their constituencies to manage Covid 19. In a message to the MLAs, CM informed that they need not rush to Bengaluru for any work.
His direction came after reports saying that BJP MLAs are not seriously engaged in the Covid 19 relief works.
With 596 patients succumbing to the infection, including 374 in Bengaluru, the state’s Covid death toll shot up to 19,372 and the city’s toll to 8,431 since the pandemic broke out in mid-March a year ago.
