Bengaluru: K Annamalai, who has been titled as ‘Singham’ by his fans has taken charge as DCP Bengaluru South on Monday.
Outgoing DCP SD Sharanappa handed over the charge to Annamalai and also gave details about the department.
Soon after taking charge, Annamalai visited some of the police stations in his jurisdiction and held talks with the officers.
Annamalai was last posted as the SP of Chikkamagaluru district.
It is recently that Alok Kumar took charge as the Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) and Girish took charge as DCP. Now yet another stern and a no-nonsense officer has stepped into the city leaving people hope of better policing.
