Bengaluru: The JDS announced that it will extend issue-based support to the BJP government in the state.
An announcement in this regard was made by ex CM HD Kumaraswamy at the JDS legislative party meeting held on Tuesday night.
“We will support all pro people decisions of the BJP inside the house. But there is no support for legislations like ant cow slaughter bill,” he said.
He also stated that even though JDS is a small party it will remain an important political force in the state. “No one can finish us,” he said.
He also made it clear that the party joined hands with BJP for the legislative council chairman post. “There is no wrong in this decision as it will strengthen the party,” he said.
