Bengaluru: Former higher education minister JDS strongman from the old Mysuru region GT Devegowda met CM BS Yediyurappa and fueled speculation that he might switch over to the saffron bridge.
According to the sources, this meeting was facilitated by another JDS rebel MLA H Vishwanath, who resigned from the MLA post.
Congress rebel MLA ST Somasekar was also present at the time of this meeting. If sources in the JDS are to be believed, Gowda is expected to resign and join the saffron party before the Dasara celebrations.
