Bengaluru: JDS state unit president H Vishwanath stated that he has decided against resigning from his post following the directions of party supremo H D Devegowda.
Vishwanath, who met HDD on Friday to submit his resignation, informed that the latter directed him to continue in to serve the party in his current post. “So I decided to continue,” he said.
It can be recalled that on Thursday, May 23, immediately after the Lok Sabha election results were out, Vishwanath had announced that he would resign from his post as a moral responsibility for the poor performance of the JDS across the state.
