Bengaluru: The Central Crime Branch (CCB) police in the city were on their way to question former minister, G Janardhan Reddy and his personal assistant Ali Khan in connection to the money laundering case that they had filed, but later found out that the two were abconding.
The CCB personnel then raided his residence to search for clues and this raid was led by Manjunath Choudhary of the CCB.
Immediately after the bypolls results were out, the state government cracked its whip and nabbed a few close associates of Reddy. It is now said that the state police is on a lookout out for Reddy, who is believed to be hiding out in Telangana.
