Bengaluru: Mining baron and former minister Gali Janardhan Reddy who was arrested by the CCB police after a thorough interrogation in the Ambident Company money laundering case was granted conditional bail by the 1st Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) Court, here on Wednesday, November 14.
Addressing the media, he first recollected the memories with deceased union minister Ananth Kumar. He said he was deeply saddened that he could not make it to Ananth Kumar’s last rites.
Reddy said that Ananth Kumar had always guided him and had said to be grounded. It was on his recommendation that he invested in OMC (Obulapuram Mining Company) and that he is now standing tall, he claimed.
He said that he was “fixed” in Ambident case.
Criticising Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and said, “Kumaraswamy waited for 12 years to take revenge on me. He has plotted to implicate me in a false case.”
“It is a well-planned strategy by HDK to keep all the sincere officers in the forefront in this case. Admiring the sincerity of the officers, I urge the CM to transfer them to Jammu and Kashmir”, he ridiculed.
