Bengaluru: A divisional bench headed by Justice Abhay Shreeniwas Oka directed the state government to give permission to the Central Bureau of Investigation to file charge sheet against four police officers named by the investigating agency.
Hearing the public litigation petition filed by several persons, the divisional bench directed the state government to take a decision in this regard immediately after the CBI advocate informed the court that the state is yet to give permission to file a chargesheet.
The CBI advocate informed that the agency sought permission to file chargesheet against four police officers on December 28, 2019.
Court has adjourned the hearing to March 5.
