Bengaluru: Harsha Gupta, Special Officer and Competent Authority appointed by the state government in the IMA scam has announced that an app will be released in next two weeks to help the victims to get their money back in the scam.

“App development is in progress. All the victims will be informed about this through phone calls,” stated Gupta.

According to the sources, over Rs.3,500 crores has been swindled by IMA company managing director Mansoor Khan from a few thousand investors. The CBI has lready filed a charge sheet against him.

Till now various government agencies have seized property worth of Rs.450 crores belonging to Khan. This will be utilised to pay back the victims.

As the value of the seized properties is way lesser than the amount lost by the victims, they may not get the full amount, said the sources.
