Bengaluru: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials brought main accused in the IMA scam case, Mohammed Mansoon Khan from New Delhi to Bengaluru. He was brought to the city on a midnight flight to avoid media attention.
Media personnel, who were tipped-off about the developments, followed the team escorting Khan to the city.
According to sources, the ED took Khan into their custody before of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in order to get the details of his political connections, alleged bribery, etc.
After a medical examination at the Victoria hospital, the ED is expected to take him to its Shantinagar office for the investigation.
It can be recalled that Khan alleged that there is a threat to his life in Bengaluru.
