Bengaluru: In the latest lead in the IMA Jewels Scam, the police have revealed that the Managing Director of the company, Mohammed Mansoor Khan has absconded to Dubai on June 8 from Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru, in an Emirates flight that took off at 8.45 PM.
As per sources, the accused may have fled India on the night of June 8, a day before the first complaint was lodged against him. Reportedly, Rs 19 Crore was transferred from IMA account to Mohammed Mansoor Khan’s personal account, before he absconded to Dubai. The investigation team has refused to reveal any further information. Seven directors of IMA have been arrested so far who will be produced before the court for enquiry on Friday, June 14. The IMA scam is pegged at Rs 1,250 crore and so far over 26,000 complaints have been filed so far.
