Bengaluru: Freedom fighter H S Doreswamy clarified that he does not harbor any personal grudge against Prime Minister Narendra Modi or any other Bharatiya Janatha Party (BJP) leaders and his criticism is mainly about the policies and working style adopted by the Union government.
State BJP General Secretary C T Ravi and others met Doreswamy at his residence recently as part of ‘Bembalakkagi Samparka’ campaign of the BJP, ahead of the upcoming Parliamentary elections. The campaign aims to create awareness about the achievements of the Narendra Modi led government in the past 4 years among at least one lakh VIPs in the country, .
C T Ravi explained to the veteran freedom fighter that the Modi government has controlled corruption. Electricity has been provided to 18,000 villages. The new health insurance scheme which involves around 50 crore people of the state will be implemented soon. Later, Doreswamy said that he never held a personal grudge against any one, but his criticism was based on the policies and working style.
The team also met former Lokayukta M N Venkatachalaiah at his residence. State Assistant Spokesperson S Prakash and former deputy mayor S Harish were present.
