Bengaluru: Former chief minister, chairman of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP), Siddaramaiah stated that he will be the Congress party’s CM candidate again in the future.
“I am the CM candidate of the party,” he said in Lakshmeshwar while addressing a party rally.
“K S Eshwarappa doesn’t have the ability to get even a single ticket for the Kuruba community. But he claims that he is a Kuruba leader. If he comes to your village, chase him away,” Siddu added.
Training his sights on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Siddu said that he had never seen a leader like him. “He only lies. He is good only for false speeches and misguiding the people,” he said.
“The BJP leaders are not seeking votes based on their achievements. They are seeking votes in the name of Modi. It is like seeking an alliance by showing the mother of the bride instead of the bride herself,” Siddaramaiah taunted.
Siddaramaiah also claimed that only the Congress party can ensure social justice in the country.
