Bengaluru: Former Rajya Sabha member, one of the versatile actor B Jayashree, granddaughter of Gubbi Veeranna the father of modern Kannada theatre has spoken about her MeToo experience.
Speaking to the media in Tumakuru, she stated that MeToo experience is very personal. “My question is why should I reveal it. It is known to only two persons,” she said.
“Question is how to provide witnesses in connection with the MeToo experience. For example, in sexual assault cases, police’s questions hurt the victim most of the time. There should be one ‘Lakshmana rekha’ while narrating the MeToo experiences on the social media,” she said.
