Bengaluru: Governor Vajubhai Vala has rejected the explanation forwarded by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on a high court verdict against Housing Minister M Krishnappa in a land dispute case.In his two-page letter to Siddaramaiah, the governor has expressed his displeasure over the way in which the former has justified his ministerial colleague. According to the sources, this letter may force the CM to drop M Krishnappa from the State Cabinet.
All started with BJP leader N R Ramesh lodging a complaint with the governor against M Krishnnappa based on the high court judgement in Vajrahalli and Raghuvanahalli land acquisition case made by Bengaluru City Housing Cooperative Society.
On May 18, governor wrote to the chief minister seeking explanation on the complaints.
Siddaramaiah forwarded the letter to state advocate general who in turn gave a positive report on continuing M Krishnappa in the State Cabinet. However, the governor, it is learnt, has expressed his displeasure over AG’s observation.
