Bengaluru: After Shantinagar MLA NA Haris son, now a BJP minister’s son is in news for an accident in Hosapete in Ballari district. The gruesome mishap claimed the lives of two persons.
According to Prajavani, a leading Kannada daily, revenue minister R Ashok’s son was reportedly behind the accident.
According to the police sources, on Monday, an overspeeding car hit a tea shop in Mariyammanahalli near Hosapet on National Highway 50. In this incident, two persons were killed.
The car was in such a speed that it dragged one of the victims for over 100 meters.
According to the police FIR, a youth named Rahul was behind the wheels at the time of the incident.
This car was registered in the name of a school in Kengeri.
It is now said that minister R Ashok’s son was driving the car and as per Prajavani report, the accused fled the scene in another car immediately after the incident.
R Ashok is not available for immediate reaction.
