Bengaluru: Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy will arrive at the holy temple town of Sringeri in the Chikkamagalur district on Thursday, December 6 evening.
Sringeri police have informed that HDK will arrive in the evening and stay in the town. “On Friday, Decemberv7 morning, he will participate in various pujas and homas. His brother, PWD minister H D Revanna and his MLA wife Anitha Kumaraswamy will accompany him,” said sources.
“These homas and pujas are organised for his better health and the longevity of the government. His father, former prime minister H D Deve Gowda is also expected to be present on the occasion,” informed a JDS leader from Sringeri.
Meanwhile, as per the official schedule released by the Chief Minister’s Office, the CM will lay the foundation stone for the construction of 845 houses for the Kodagu flood victims on Friday noon in the Madapura village of Madikeri taluk, which was totally destroyed in the flood and landslides. Later in the evening, he will fly to Mandya.
