Bengaluru: H D Kumaraswamy, the delegated Chief Minister of the state who will take oath as 25th CM of Karnataka on Wednesday (today) evening has decided not to use government bungalow during his tenure to avoid unwanted expenditures.

Speaking to media persons here on Wednesday, HDK said that he would continue to live in his J P Nagar house even after becoming the Chief Minister.

“It would be great if other ministers also follow the same model. I have been living in the JP Nagar residence over the last 25 years and I believe that a lot of good has happened to me here,” he said adding that he wants to remain connected to the people to remain in good health and that hence he would continue programmes like ‘Grama Vasthavaya’ that he started during his last stint as CM.
