Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister and JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy has criticised Prime Minister Modi for not visiting any of the flood-hit areas in the state despite coming to Bengaluru in order to watch the landing of ISRO’s Chandrayaan 2.
In a series of tweets, Kumaraswamy lashed out at Chief Minister Yediyurappa and Prime Minister Modi. He accused Yediyurappa of being a “weak CM” and alleged that the state’s cabinet ministers had gone down with him.
Kumaraswamy said, “Prime Minister Modi came to Bengaluru to watch Chandrayaan-2 and give confidence to the scientists. However, he did not even turn and look at the hundreds of families and their children who have been suffering due to floods.”
