Bengaluru: In a sudden development, JDS supremo HD Deve Gowda and former CM, Congress leader S Siddaramaiah met at Kumara Krupa guest house, raising several speculations.
According to the sources, municipal administration minister Ramesh Jarakiholi handed over a letter to CM HD Kumaraswamy in the cabinet meeting, warning him of resigning from the state cabinet if his demands are not met. He also warned of quitting Congress with 20 of his supporters.
As the issue is taking serious political turns, HD Deve Gowda decided to meet Siddaramaiah. “As per the request of Gowda, Siddaramaiah met him at the Kumara Krupa guest house, where they held one to one interaction. Both the leaders discussed postponing the proposed cabinet expansion also,” said sources.
“Siddaramaiah also suggested Gowda to give advise to CM HDK on the financial health of the state as his projects are running out of money,” added sources.
